New works are the feature of this show at the new Gilroy Arts Alliance Interim Center for the Arts, Finestra Rustica!. Local artist Whitney Pintello enjoys a solo exhibition of over 30 of her unique paintings on vintage glass windows, curated by GAA Executive Director Trish Triumpho Sullivan.

A popular local artist, Pintello exhibits paintings produced especially for this show. She is best known for her signature paintings on vintage windows, and has followed a specific direction with this group of work. This exhibit has themes of food and wine in rustic surroundings that beckon the viewer to join the table. Exhibition will be on view during regular Arts Center hours April I - May 15, 2011.

Join us for a free public reception on April 9 from 4pm to 7pm featuring light refreshments and live music.Stay for the Jug Band concert afterwards and get take out from one of the many downtown restaurants.
