Women's Memoir Writing Coach & Author of Rosie's Daughters: The 'First Woman To' Generation Tells Its Story |
| Email/Website: |
Matilda@WomensMemoirs.com; www.RosiesDaughters.com and www.WomensMemoirs.com |
| Additional Information: |
"Rosie’s Daughters:…" is a collective memoir drawing on Butler’s 35 years of research training and work experiences. An author, life writing coach, social psychologist, and entrepreneur, Butler taught and conducted research at Stanford University, created the nationwide Women’s Educational Equity Communication Network, and co-founded Knowledge Access International, a software firm specializing in CD-ROM information products. After selling the company in ‘97, she returned to research and writing that resulted in "Rosie’s Daughters." Interviewing more than 100 women led Butler to again recognize the importance of telling life stories. She now helps women tell their stories with classes on women’s memoir writing. |

| Additional Information: |
Living in England and the U.S. the past 30 years and working as a CPA, Nader discovered his true passion in painting and “Visual Literacy”, leading to 10 years of instruction at the Art Institute of Chicago. Four years ago, he and Elizabeth settled in Gilroy, converting a stable on the property into a gallery/studio. Nader's paintings are colorful and modern with a unique style; whether landscapes or figures, all are abstractions of nature. He exhibited in three major Bay Area art shows in 2007, including AVA ArtFest at Triton Museum in Santa Clara. Projects include “Painted Verses”, pieces inspired by Persian poetry and dedicated to his father; landscapes warmed by the sensuous sun from visits to Tuscany and Liguria, and a Gilroy series of “diamonds and rubies in our own backyard,” to be revealed in next fall’s GAA exhibition. |
